Shabana Azmi discusses her experience of working with Karan Johar and Steven Spielberg
Recently, actress Shabana Azmi opened up on her experience of working with filmmaker Karan Johar and Steven Spielberg.
Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi has appeared in more than 160 films in her career span. The veteran actress needs no introduction as she has a long and successful career in the field and is renowned for a vast body of work that transcends genre and linguistic boundaries. Shabana began by mentioning Steven Spielberg, noting that the Schindler's List director is still going strong at age 76 and isn't one to rest on his laurels. The actor noted that the well-known director-producer is constantly experimenting with new concepts and claimed that he has the excitement and curiosity of a young child.
Regarding Karan Johar, the Makdee actress acknowledged that at first she mistakenly believed that he was this glitzy filmmaker who constantly makes a scene with his parties and shindigs. She was pleasantly surprised by Karan's commitment to the craft and to the filmmaking process, though.
She further said that one benefit of working with Karan Johar was that she was always attractive because to the meticulous makeup and hair, whether it was on set or after the shoot.
On the work front, Shabana Azmi will next share the screen space with evergreen stars Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan in the upcoming romantic-comedy Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. This movie marks the directorial comeback of Karan Johar. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. The film is all set to hit the big screens in the month of April next year.
