See why Farah Khan and Farhan Akhtar DIDN'T ATTEND SRK's birthday bash

Shah Rukh Khan kept a lavish birthday bash for his close friends, a little away from Mumbai, in Alibaug! Shweta Nanda (Bachchan), Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji and few more were in attendance at the bash. However, the missing ones were Shah Rukh Khan's close friends Farah Khan and co - producer of his film Raees, Farhan Akhtar.

According to a report on a popular daily, a source was quoted saying about why Farah and Farhan gave a miss to SRK's bash, "Many felt that Shah Rukh was upset with his Raees co-producer Farhan Akhtar's arrogant statement (he said that he wouldn't pay Rs 5 crore for having a Pakistani actor in his film) and hadn't invited him to his party. But reality is that Farhan was shooting for a new Rock On 2 song the same day the bash was happening and since he was shooting with Farah Khan she also couldn't make it." (sic)
