In a recent conversation with standup comedian and actor Anubhav Singh Bassi on Netflix India, Bollywood sensation Sara Ali Khan unveiled a surprising facet of her ambitions. When confronted with a statement suggesting her "Somewhere down the line, Sara wants to join politics," the actress said, "Yes, she does."

This revelation adds depth to Sara Ali Khan's persona, reflecting her academic background in history and political science from Columbia University. This isn't the first instance where she has expressed her political aspirations. In a 2019 interview, Sara had hinted at her keen interest in politics, emphasizing that while it may be a future pursuit, it's not merely a fallback plan. She asserted her commitment to the film industry, expressing gratitude for the opportunities it offers.

Following the releases of her two OTT projects, "Murder Mubarak" and "Ae Watan Mere Watan," where Sara was lauded for her performances, the actress gears up for her next cinematic venture. She is set to grace the silver screen in Anurag Basu's highly-anticipated "Metro... In Dino," a sequel to the acclaimed 2007 film "Life in a... Metro." 

Sharing the screen with an ensemble cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Kay Kay Menon, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Neena Gupta, Sara's presence adds to the excitement surrounding the project.
