Sanjay Kapoor once recalled how Salman Khan helped him unexpectedly during the promotion of the film Auzaar

Actor Sanjay Kapoor recently reminisced about how Salman Khan supported him during the promotions of the movie Auzaar. Bollywood star Salman Khan is well known for the courtesy and kindness he extends to his colleagues.

Speaking to Bombay Times, Sanjay said, "When the hoardings of Auzaar went up, they had a big picture of Salman and a smaller picture of me, even though I had a better role. Salman called our producer and said, 'If you want this kind of publicity, then don't put my name either. Sanjay stood by us.' Salman made sure it happened. That's just the way he is.”

Talking about the casting, Sanjay Kapoor added, “I was a hot newcomer, and despite it being a negative role, I agreed to do it immediately when Sohail called me. Many actors had said no. Salman was a superstar at that time, and I don’t know if he remembers this, but over a drink at the Piano Bar, he told me, 'When you become a producer, I will do your film.' Their family has always been like that.”

On the work front, while Salman Khan will be seen in Sikandar, Sanjay Kapoor appeared in the Netflix release Murder Mubarak.
