Samay Raina is currently under significant scrutiny for his show "India's Got Latent" after Ranveer Allahbadia made a crude comment regarding 'parents having sex,' which has ignited outrage across social media platforms. In the aftermath, multiple police complaints and FIRs have been filed against Ranveer, Samay, and others involved in the show. Amid this controversy, an old video has resurfaced showing Bharti Singh coming to Samay Raina's defense regarding his language on the show.
In the clip, Bharti, who appeared on Samay Raina's panel alongside her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa and singer Tony Kakkar, praised Samay as 'talented.' When a paparazzo inquired about her thoughts on Samay facing trolling, she stood by him, highlighting her support during this challenging time.
Woh show hi aisa hai, but zaroori nahi ki aap show mein jaake wahi bolo jo show ki requirement hai. Aapki marzi—bolo ya na bolo. Samay thodi kehta hai, 'Arey, muh kholo, bolo!' Samay bohot accha ladka hai aur talented bhi hai. Gen-Z ka pasand hai woh. Khud jaoge toh uske fan ho jaoge. Itna accha hai

Bharti further talked about Samay's language, and said,"Agar uski language jo use karta hai woh pasand nahi hai, toh millions hai aur hum hi hai, jo Samay Raina lagate hai aur dekhte hain."
In a recent episode of "India's Got Latent," Allahbadia served as a guest judge and posed an inappropriate question to a contestant. This comment sparked significant backlash, leading to a police complaint against him for promoting obscenity. The complaint was lodged with the Mumbai Police Commissioner and the National Commission for Women.
Following this, the Mumbai Police launched an inquiry and filed an FIR against Allahbadia and others involved in the incident. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis condemned the remarks, highlighting the need to uphold societal norms. In light of the widespread criticism, Allahbadia released a video apology, admitting to his poor judgment and confirming that the controversial segments had been cut from the show's recording. He acknowledged that his attempt at humor was both inappropriate and unfunny, admitting that comedy is not his forte.
