Samantha Akkineni confirms separation with Naga Chaitanya; to part ways

Actors Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya have now confirmed separation through an Instagram post. The post also stated that they have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue own paths'.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Akkineni shared their official statement with their fans post their separation. The post read, 'To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths . We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans , well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on

There were constant rumors of the couple separating where they have been living separately for a while. Even though there was no confirmation on the same till now but it has now been confirmed officially. Akkineni  isn’t shifting her base to anywhere other than Hyderabad, as she reportedly revealed in her recent Instagram interaction with her followers.

On the workfront, Akkineni made her debut on the web with The Family Man Season 2 earlier this year and will be seen in in Telugu film, Shaakuntalam and Tamil film, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhai. While Chaitanya will be seen in Telugu film, Thank You and Bangarraju apart from making his Hindi film debut with the Aamir Khan starrer, Laal Singh Chaddha.
