Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartment Under Tight Security After Baba Siddique's Murder

Salman Khan visited Lilavati Hospital late Saturday night to express his sympathy and meet the family of Baba Siddique, who tragically passed away from bullet wounds. Following this incident, security outside Salman Khan's residence has been tightened. Visuals showed guards stationed outside the 'Sultan' actor's Galaxy Apartment.

Baba Siddique, a former minister in Maharashtra and a leader within Ajit Pawar's faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), was shot near Nirmal Nagar in Bandra. Despite being rushed to Lilavati Hospital, Siddique succumbed to his injuries late Saturday night.

Salman made his visit to the hospital on the same night to offer his condolences to Siddique’s grieving family. This incident comes just months after a previous security scare involving Salman Khan in April. On that occasion, two men on motorcycles fired shots outside his Bandra residence. Those responsible, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were later caught in Gujarat.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Police has registered a case regarding Siddique's death. The case, filed at Nirmal Nagar Police Station, includes charges under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Arms Act, and the Maharashtra Police Act. These include crime registration number 589/2024 and various sections related to criminal offenses and weapons violations.

The police have also identified two suspects in the case, Gurmail Singh from Haryana and Dharamraj Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh. The investigation revealed shocking details about their involvement in the planning of the attack.

On Sunday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced that Siddique would be honored with a state funeral. The Chief Minister’s Office stated that Siddique had served as a minister from 2004 to 2008 and chaired the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA).

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar mentioned that five teams were formed and dispatched to different states to investigate Siddique’s murder. He added that more details would emerge in the next two to three days. Pawar also met Zeeshan Siddique, the son of the deceased leader, at Cooper Hospital.
