A few weeks back, India Forums had exclusively reported that Salman Khan is quite miffed with producer Boney Kapoor due to personal reasons (Boney’s son Arjun Kapoor dating his brother Arbaaz Khan’s ex-wife Malaika Arora).
It’s been 10 years ever since Salman and Boney collaborated for Wanted, a movie which also marked the directorial debut of Prabhu Deva in Hindi films and was a huge hit at the box office. For a long time now, talks about the film's sequel too have been making rounds in town and with the film completing ten long years, fans too have expressed their wish to see the Bhaijaan return with the second installment of the film.
Recently, many reports from various entertainment websites suggested that Salman Khan will be collaborating with his Dabangg 3 director Prabhu Deva for an Eid 2020 release. The rumour mills are stating that the movie is titled India’s Most Wanted Cop: Radhe, a sequel to Boney Kapoor’s Radhe.
A recent report from Bollywood Hungama states that the 53-year-old actor loathes working with Boney Kapoor but is keen on doing a sequel to Wanted which will be produced under Khan’s own production banner – Salman Khan Films.
Sources close to Boney say he would have happily given Salman Khan the go-ahead to the sequel without Boney as a producer. “He isn’t the kind to hold grudges or someone who would do anything out of spite. All Salman had to do was ask Boney and Wanted would have been given to Salman. Doing it without consent is not proper. But Boney is not taking any legal action,” says the source.
