Bollywood superstar Salman Khan found himself at the center of a frightening event just two days ago when gunshots rang out near his Mumbai residence. Shortly after the incident, a Facebook post allegedly linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother claimed responsibility for the shooting. However, investigations have taken a surprising turn as the IP address of the post has been traced to Portugal.

A senior police official revealed to PTI that efforts are underway to verify the authenticity of the post, suspecting the use of a VPN to mask the true origin. In response to the incident, security measures around Salman Khan have been heightened, with an increase in police presence at his residence and during his film shoots.

The incident, occurring on Sunday, April 14, 2024, sent shockwaves through the industry as reports emerged of unidentified individuals firing multiple rounds outside Salman’s house around 5 am. Prompt action by the Mumbai Crime Branch led to the arrest of the suspects in the Bhuj district of Gujarat.

As investigations continue, law enforcement remains committed to Salman Khan's safety and security, ensuring that such incidents do not disrupt his professional commitments or personal well-being.
