Actor- filmmaker Satish Kaushik passed away from a heart attack in March of this year. He has appeared in more than 100 movies and in addition, he had produced and directed numerous films. Actor Salman Khan and Satish Kaushik collaborated on several projects, and where the latter directed the 2003 movie Tere Naam, in which Salman Khan played Radhe. And recently, he recently said that he had shared plans for Tere Naam 2 with Satish Kaushik before his death. He is now preparing for the premiere of his movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
During a media interaction, Salman Khan, who played the lead role in Tere Naam, recently spoke about the movie and its possible sequel. He revealed that Satish Kaushik had discussed a one-line idea for the film with him 20 years ago, and he loved the concept. He further shared that before Satish Kaushik's demise, they had shared plans for a sequel of Tere Naam, and he had even discussed a plot for Tere Naam 2 with him.
Salman Khan had a significant association with Satish Kaushik, and he mentioned that they had tried to devise what would have happened in the story 20 years later. Satish Kaushik had also promised to start working on the script soon.
Tere Naam was a blockbuster hit and remained one of Salman Khan's most iconic movies. The movie profoundly impacted the audience, and Salman's portrayal of Radhe Mohan was widely appreciated. If a sequel to Tere Naam does materialize, fans of the film will undoubtedly be thrilled to see their favourite characters back on screen.
The plans for Tere Naam 2 haven't wholly been abandoned, as Salman said he might consider working on the film at some point.
