Salman Khan Reacts to Emergency Call from Malegaon, Extends Help to 50 Female Ground Workers

Salman Khan is leaving no stone unturned in helping the daily wage workers that have been suffering a financial crisis due to the coronavirus pandemic. Earlier he came to rescue of daily wage workers from the film industry and pledged to help 25,000 workers, as informed by the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE).

Salman asked for account details of 25,000 workers and deposited money in their bank accounts to help them financially.  His father Salim Khan also informed that the family has been taking care of the house staff and employees and revealed that his sons- Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail, have lent financial assistance to their staff at their respective studios.

But the actor does not stop here. Reportedly, Khan reacted to an emergency call from Malegaon where people have been hit by the coronavirus lockdown and needed financial assistance. The actor’s team immediately looked into the matter and Salman extended help to 50 female ground workers in Mumbai.

Salman’s manager and spokesperson Jordy Patel confirmed the news to India TV and said: "Salman has always been generous and responds to anyone in need genuinely... we all know that.”

Besides, Salman has already started transferring the amount in the bank accounts of the daily wage workers. The superstar also came forward to provide food and essential items for the workers. 

His close friend and politician Baba Siddique took to Twitter to thank Salman Khan for his help and lauded him for ensuring that no worker sleeps on an empty stomach. He wrote, "Thank you @beingsalmankhan @tweetbeinghuman for your generous contribution towards the daily wage workers. You are always one step ahead of everybody when it comes to helping people and you have proved that yet again.”

He also said, "Thank you @BeingSalmanKhan @tweetbeinghuman for joining us in our fight against #CoronaVirus and making sure no one sleeps hungry!"
