Salman Khan hospitalized after getting bit by a snake

Actor Salman Khan was rushed to a Mumbai hospital in the wee hours of 3 a.m. last night after he was bitten by a snake.

The actor was at his Panvel farmhouse when the incident took place. However, the actor has now been discharged and has been advised to complete bed rest. Sources close to India.com confirmed that the actor is fine and that the snake was non-venomous.

An anti-venom medicine was administered to him and after a few hours of observation the actor was allowed to go home. 

It is a tradition of sorts for the actor to celebrate his birthday at his lavish Panvel farmhouse. And in all probability Salman may host a close-knit party tonight.
