Saif Ali Khan withdraws himself from Bollywood to make a career on Digital Front?

Saif Ali Khan has been making it to the headlines for creating a space for himself on the digital front. The actor has been a commercial success for Netflix and with the release of Sacred Games Season 2, Saif has decided to set foot in another web-series called Tandav. 

With the recent developments in his career, we wonder what are his career plans in Bollywood? The 49-year-old actor was last seen in Baazaar (2018) and now he will be seen in Laal Kaptaan (2019), now looking at his graph he has been conceiving single film a year. Meanwhile, he seems to be more focused on the digital front. 

The latest season of Sacred Games ended on a cliff hanger and there have been no reports about the same. But, he has definitely surprised the fans with the announcement of Tandav. 

During the official announcement of the series, Saif talk about the show and mentioned how it will be based on Indian Politics on a massive scale.   

He said: “I don’t want to use American examples, but it’s along the lines of House Of Cards, although set within the framework of Indian politics. The plot takes into account various factions like Dalit politics and UP cops and the whole nexus between them.”

Furthermore, discussing the details about his characters Saif revealed that he will be performing the character of a politician and the series will be helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. “My character is Chanakya-like, in the guise of a youth leader who comes from a privileged background and aspires to become the prime minister,” he added.  

On the work front, Saif is busy preparing for the release of Laal Kaptaan which will hit the screens on October 18. 

His upcoming films include Jawani Jaaneman with Tabu and Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior with Ajay Devgn. Apart from all the twists in his career path, fans can't stop praising the actor for performance, be it films or web-series, fans can't get enough of him.
