Saif Ali Khan receives a speedy recovery message from his Devara co-star Jr NTR as he gets stabbed by a thief

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan recently came back to Mumbai after a long holiday abroad and got injured when an unknown person broke into his home in Bandra, possibly to rob him. He fought with the thief and ended up with six stab wounds, two of which are said to be deep. The actor is now in the hospital getting treatment.

Now, Saif received a special message from his Devara co-star Jr NTR, who shared his shock and sadness about the news of Saif's attack. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he penned a note and sent a message of recovery for him.

Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan developed a good friendship while working together on the sets of Devara, even though this was their first time collaborating.

For those who don't know, Saif played the role of the villain Bhaira in the film directed by Kortala Siva. Unfortunately, there has been a sad update about the actor. It's been reported that Saif was hospitalized after being attacked by an intruder at his home and has suffered multiple injuries.

About the attack on Saif

A recent report from the Hindustan Times states that a robber broke into Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Bandra home around 2:30 am on January 16, 2025. Saif got into a scuffle with the intruder and, unfortunately, sustained multiple stab wounds.

The police have confirmed that the robber fled the scene after attacking Saif. They are in the process of filing an FIR and are actively trying to apprehend the attacker. A police officer mentioned, “We are investigating the matter. The Mumbai crime branch is conducting a parallel investigation into the incident.”

Additionally, the report indicated that Saif Ali Khan has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital for treatment. Niraj Uttamani, the hospital's chief operating officer, stated that Saif was admitted at 3:30 am. He has suffered six injuries, with two being deeper, and one of them is reportedly near his spine. Uttamani further noted that Saif is currently undergoing surgery, and the extent of his injuries will only be determined after the operation.
