Saif Ali Khan Reacts to Celebs Posting Workout Videos, calls it Boring

Saif Ali Khan’s darling wife and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan took the Internet by storm when she made her Instagram debut. She often posts pictures of herself, little Taimur and her girl gang. However, Saif still remains far away from the social media site. But looks like the wait may come to an end as in a recent chat, the actor has revealed the one condition on which he may join the photo-sharing app.

Speaking to Rajeev Masand, Saif revealed that his mother Sharmila Tagore is keen on joining Instagram and if she gets on it, he might too join the social media application. He said, “I was just talking to my mother and she was saying should she join Instagram. I said ‘Yeah, but you’ll have to share pictures you know.’ She said ‘Yeah. I need to get to Pataudi and my roses and share that.’ 

“I said if she gets on it, I might get on it as well,” he added.

“I don't want to be on it. I think maybe it was because everyone was on it, that’s why I thought I don’t want to be on it. I just didn't want to do something because everyone else is doing it. That's just how my head works.”

Saif also shared that he would prefer joining Instagram rather than Twitter as he does not want to indulge in fights, instead he would post pictures of the things he likes.

The Tanhaji also reacted to celebs posting workout videos on social media and called it boring. “What are they really sharing? Workout videos?  I looked at it and I felt that it is not that interesting, really. After a point, it is quite boring to look at. It might be interesting for a fan but not for me. I feel if you do it (be on social media), you should have something interesting to say,” Saif said.

Earlier, filmmaker Farah Khan too shared a video slamming Bollywood celebrities for sharing workout videos amid lockdown. She called the videos a bigger pandemic than Coronavirus.
