Two days back, we got the horrid news that Saif Ali Khan has been attacked at his home. A man who allegedly wanted to attempt a burglary has been arrested. The case has piqued the curiosity of many. We know that Salman Khan is getting death threats, and NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead in the most gruesome manner outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office. Bandra, which was once known for its restaurants, party vibes and cultural attractions is now seen as a criminal hub. Zeeshan Siddique told Hindustan Times, “There is a lot of difference between the Bandra I was born in and the Bandra of today. It is no longer safe.”

Months back, the demise of Baba Siddique shocked Mumbai. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed accountability for the same. Mumbai Police has not arrested the killers so far. Baba Siddique was known for his humanitarian work in and around Bandra. Zeeshan Siddique lamented, “My father lost his life while protecting the lives and homes of poor innocent people. Today, my family is shattered, but his death should not be politicised and I don't want it to go in vain. I want justice, my family wants justice!”

The young politician said it would be unfair to give it a communal angle. He also said that Maharashtra Police is exploring all the sides to the matter. Another suspect has been caught from Madhya Pradesh. Saif Ali Khan sustained four to five injuries. The deepest one was on the thoracic region of his spine. The knife was stuck there and the surgeons had to operate it out. If it had gone further, the prognosis could have been quite different. A plastic surgeon has also repaired his neck. His house help Eliyama Phillip too suffered injuries from the intruder. The matter has grabbed the attention of the entire nation.
