Saif Ali Khan Attack: Attacker Demands 1 Crore After Entering Son Jeh's Room

An alarming incident unfolded at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's Mumbai residence, leaving the family shaken but safe. According to reports, the attacker entered the house late at night, targeting their son Jeh’s room. Armed with a stick and a sharp blade, the intruder demanded ?1 crore from the staff but was confronted by the actor himself, leading to a scuffle.

The terrifying ordeal began around 2 am when Eliyama Philip, a nurse employed by the family, encountered the armed assailant. She described him as a slim man in his late 30s with a dark complexion. The attacker allegedly demanded money from her and, upon refusal, physically assaulted her, causing injuries to her wrists. The noise alerted another nanny, Junu, who raised the alarm, prompting Saif and Kareena to intervene.

Saif Ali Khan faced the intruder to protect his family but sustained multiple injuries during the confrontation. Another staff member, Geeta, was also injured while trying to assist. The attacker fled before additional help arrived. Despite early claims about the ?1 crore demand, Joint Commissioner Satya Narayan Chaudhary clarified that the case appeared to be an attempted burglary. DCP Dixit Gedam shared, One accused has been identified. He used the fire escape to enter, and multiple teams are working to apprehend him.

Following the incident, Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in an auto-rickshaw by his staff. Dr. Niraj Uttamani, the hospital's chief operating officer, confirmed the actor sustained six injuries, including two deep wounds near his spine.

The incident has raised serious concerns about celebrity safety in Mumbai. The police have deployed 10 detection teams, actively working to arrest the suspect and ensure justice. For now, Saif is recovering under medical care, with his family expressing gratitude for the swift response of their staff and authorities.
