Sacchin Shroff on entering Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin midway: There's always pressure as an actor

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin witnessed a new entry a while ago in the form of Sacchin Shroff aka Rajiv. And ever since his entry, things have sure shaken up, but mostly for good, as the audience witnessed the grand proposal for Sai and Virat, among other things that followed. 

India Forums had a quick conversation with Sacchin about the entry, his equation, and the track ahead. Have a look at the conversation here.

Was there any kind of pressure on you to become a part of a TRP topping TV show, midway?

Basically, when we talk about any kind of pressures when becoming a a part of a TRP topping show and midway, there's always pressure as an actor and you always try to give your best, you have to fit the character because you have just entered the show while rest of the characters have already gone into the skin of their characters and know what they are doing, the look, the dialogue delivery, everything is much set in advance, but for someone who joins mid-way, has to gel in so well that it looks like 'oh my god, he is a part of this family'.

What is your off-screen equation like with everyone, and how was the first day on sets like?

My off-screen equation with everyone is very good. These guys are very very sweet to me, they always ask me to join them for lunch, and we have lot of fun on the sets. These guys really make me feel very comfortable, and I am really thankful to them, especially Tanvi Thakker, because she takes extra care and effort to make sure I am extra comfortable because we have lots of scenes together. She also makes sure to get something for me, and she has actually spoilt me.

As for your track on the show, what's in store ahead and how will things change?

As for the track, basically, Rajiv was the trigger for Sai and Virat to get married, in the sense that along with Rajiv and Shivani's track, their marriage also happens. What will follow, the creators have not discussed yet, so let's see what the show has in store for us.
