SAB TV to come up with Cookery Comedy!

SAB TV, that till now aired only re-runs in its afternoon slot, is now conceptualizing a cookery show with a dash of comedy. After trying different kinds of comedy like court room comedy (as in Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai) and the to-be-launched first ever silent comedy on television, Ghutrgoo, SAB TV is yet again all set with rolled-up sleeves to begin work on this kind of 'kitchen comedy'.

According to our source "The show will be a cookery show where the recipes shown are genuine. The show will be hosted by a celebrity couple and there will be comic moments in the course of the food getting cooked. The show will be produced by Asit Modi the one who's famous show is already running on SAB –Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah."

When asked Anooj Kapoor, Business Head, SAB TV, he confirmed the news saying, "Yes we are launching a cookery show. We have been experimenting with our shows and the show is expected to launch post IPL."

Producer Asit Modi though refused to give any information on the show.
