Runway 34 was shot during the peak of pandemic while Rakul Preet Singh tested positive

The most anticipated trailer of the film Runway 34 was released today and during the launch, it was revealed by Rohit Shetty that the film was shot during the 2nd wave of pandemic.

Today, after long anticipation, the much-awaited trailer of Runway 34 was launched. The ADF film, which is also directed by Ajay Devgn, is all set to bring in the thrill on the big screens this Eid.  

At the trailer launch, Rohit Shetty shed light on how the idea and execution of the film was carried out. He said that the filming of this movie was done during the peak of the pandemic while taking all the necessary precautions and following the protocols.

Throwing light on the same, Ajay Devgn mentioned how he landed this project. He said, 

" I had actually read this script 2 and a half years ago so I told the writers that it needs some changes and get back to me after it. I totally forgot about it, but after 2 and a half years it crossed my mind and I asked the writers to meet me with the script. They had made the necessary changes and with some other adjustments here and there, I loved it and immediately wanted to work on this film. So after a  month, we started working on the film and began filming even during the lockdown".

The film is inspired by true events. The film features Ajay Devgan, Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, Boman Irani, Aakanksha Singh, and Angira Dhar in key roles. It will be released on 29th April 2022.
