Rohman Shawl admits he couldn’t match Sushmita Sen’s diamond standards yet!

In a rare and candid moment, model and budding actor Rohman Shawl opened up about his past relationship with actress Sushmita Sen, shedding light on their equation post-breakup, his views on love, and how life has moved on for both of them. Speaking to Instant Bollywood, Rohman reflected on their bond with warmth and honesty, without any bitterness.

Rohman and Sushmita began dating a few years ago after a chance Instagram DM led to a deep connection. They were often seen together at events, family functions, and even during Sushmita's health battles, with Rohman standing by her side. While their breakup in 2021 surprised many, Sushmita had made it clear through an Instagram post that they parted ways on good terms, writing, "We began as friends, we remain friends. The relationship was long over... the love remains."

Now, years later, the two continue to share a close friendship. Rohman, who is gradually making his mark in the film industry, revealed a fun anecdote about Sushmita’s love for diamonds. When asked if he had ever gifted her one, he chuckled, “Jis hisab ke unko diamond pasand hai, abhi meri aukaat nahi itna bada kharidne ki.” He added with a smile, “Unka ek pasandita diamond hai, woh 22 carats ka hai... Inshallah, ek din.”

While fans had speculated a rekindling of their romance, especially when they were spotted together multiple times even after their separation, neither of them confirmed getting back. The brief buzz around Sushmita and businessman Lalit Modi in 2022 also sparked headlines, but that chapter soon faded quietly.

Professionally, Rohman made his acting debut last year in the Tamil film Amaran, playing a villainous role that surprisingly impressed audiences.
