Rohit Shetty's 'Cirkus' is a riot of laughter & entertainment; Deepika's cameo steals the show

Rohit Shetty's Cirkus has generated a lot of interest ever since it was unveiled. After Simmba and Sooryavanshi, this movie is Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty's third collaboration, and fans are very enthusiastic about it. The film's posters and brief video clips were shared on social media by the creators prior to the release of the trailer, which further piqued viewers' interest. 

The Cirkus trailer has now officially been released!

The 4 minute trailer video allows one to step into the 60’s era, where a huge ensemble cast including Ranveer, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma ride on comedy. From Ranveer Singh’s double role and performing electrifying stunts on stage to Johnny Lever and Sanjay Mishra's one-liners, the movie has so much to offer. The larger-than-life screen presence of the actors, will make you fall in love with old world comedy.  

What caught everyone's attention was Deepika Padukone's cameo in the film. The actress stole the show as she grooved alongside her husband Ranveer Singh.

Cirkus stars Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma.  It is loosely inspired by the Gulzar-Sanjeev Kumar movie Angoor, which is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors. The movie will hit the theatres on 23 December 2022.
