Rinzing Denzongpa on 'Squad' not releasing in theatres: We waited for some time but it panned out this way

Rinzing Denzongpa marks his debut with ZEE5 action film Squad. The trailer of the film sure grabbed a lot of attention and ahead of the release tomorrow, the actor sure has quite a lot to say while waiting it out to see how do the reactions turn out for his debut film. India Forums got in touch with the actor and here's a quick conversation we had with him.

How has the shooting experience been for you? Something from the journey that stayed with you?

It has been a long journey but an amazing one. I have learned so much from my first movie, I have learned a lot. It has been 3 years since I started so I have learned so much from the process.

Just walking on sets for the first time, there are so many firsts because this is the first movie, so obviously this is going to special.

With all the action in the movie, what is the prep that went in for you?

So a couple of months before the shoot, we had our action choreographer come down to Poland, and another Wushu champion from china is also based in Poland, so we did few weeks of training on that and the general gym, etc, but yes, that's about it.

How was it shooting with co-stars Malvika Raaj, Pooja, and others?

We have Mohan Kapur, among others and it has been amazing, it has been a lot of fun and I have learnt from them as well. I loved shooting with everybody.

OTT space is thriving but a theatre release is obviously different. Was that something you thought too?

That was and we have waited for quite some time but I guess it panned out this way but I am so glad, I saw Sooryavanshi's number, Rohit sir posted it on his Instagram and it feels so nice to feel that we are back.

What are you looking forward to doing next and how do you see things pan out for yourself from here on?

I would like to do comedy with a little bit of action as I like comedy films so it would be cool to act in a comedy film. We will find out once we see how the movie is, etc, I get to see a proper final of the movie, and even I am waiting.
