We at India Forums got into a fun and interesting conversation with Actress Ridhima Pandit where she spoke to us about spending time in quarantine, Bigg Boss, Web shows, her upcoming projects and much more...
Speaking about spending her time in Quarantine, Ridhima said, “I just worked out. I have been working out, I have been spending time with my family. I cooked rajma yesterday and now I am planning to bake some chocolate chip cookies right now.”
She further added, “I had decided that I am gonna wake up early. I tried to wake up early but that's not happening. I am still waking up around 9.30ish which is not such a great time because when you’re shooting you are used to waking up at a particular time, you have a routine. The routine has definitely gone for a toss, but the positive thing is that I am getting to spend a lot of time at home, I am getting to pursue my hobbies. I wanted to start painting but I don’t have the things required to do it and right now nobody is delivering, I am not going to get anything.”
Ridhima also revealed her nickname and shared, “My dad calls me cheenu, even now he calls me cheenu. The only difference is now I am grown up, he calls me that now when he is in a very good mood. It takes me back to my childhood. I don’t know why he calls me Cheenu, I'll ask him that today.”
When asked whether there is a possibility of Bahu Hamari Rajnikanth 2, she said, “I don’t know, I don't think so and that is so sad because it was my favourite show even though i was acting in it. The concept was different, I was blessed to play a character like that. Lets pray and hope, I would love to be part of it.”
Talking about Bigg Boss and her plans to participate in the show, she said, “No,I can't. More than me, the thought is scary for my friends and family. They know the real me, they know how I get when I’m angry. I always say this in all my interviews, never say never. If my fans believe that I can go through it then I might give it a try. But if I dive into something then I want to give it my all. But right now, I am not in the position to give in my all due to the work commitments and all.”
She also talked about whether she would like to do music videos and web shows in future and said, “Of course, yes definitely. Since I just finished a commitment on TV which was Haiwaan, my last project on TV. I would like to explore other avenues as well, I would like to do web, I would like to do these music videos. Again, get into non fiction space and then again come into fiction. Anything can happen, as an actor I am open for anything.”
“I was supposed to start shooting for a web series but it's on hold now obviously,” she added.
Signing off she said, “Please keep doing whatever you're doing for your motivation. Spend time with your family, if you are not with your family then don't be upset, call up your friends.”
