Riddhima Kapoor Sahni on Gangubai Kathiawadi: When two living legends come together and create magic

Alia Bhatt is in the news these days for her much-anticipated film Gangubai Kathiawadi and it is slated to hit theatres tomorrow. The diva, who will portray the titular role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, is going all out to promote the film. In fact, the filmmakers recently arranged a screening of Gangubai Kathiawadi for the film industry, and it appears that the stars were impressed. Several celebrities have turned to social media to express their feelings about Alia Bhatt's film. 

Alia's boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor's sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, was equally thrilled with Alia's performance. While Ranbir was unable to attend the film's special screening on Wednesday, Riddima and her aunt Rima Jain did. Riddhima Kapoor took to Instagram to appreciate Alia’s performance and she wrote, "When two living legends come together and create magic #sanjayleelabhansali #aliabhatt what a fantastic movie! Brilliant performance! @aliabhatt you nailed it.”

Apart from Riddhima Kapoor, Rekha, Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Ananya Panday, Ishaan Khatter, and Isabelle Kaif are among others who attended the special screening of the film on Wednesday.

Gangubai Kathiawadi is set to hit the theatre on February 25th 2022.
