Rhea Chakraborty's unbuttoned shirt adjustment video goes viral; sparks nasty online debate

Rhea Chakraborty, once again, finds herself under the harsh spotlight of social media. A recent video of the actress hanging out in the city with fellow actor Fatima Sana Shaikh has gone viral and not for the right reasons. In the clip, Rhea is seen casually adjusting her shirt, likely because of the rising heat, which momentarily reveals a glimpse of her innerwear. But what was clearly a normal human action quickly became gossip fodder for trolls.

Online chatter accused Rhea of trying to "grab attention" and labelled the moment as a deliberate publicity stunt. While the video continues to circulate with sensationalised captions, what's more alarming is the speed with which the internet turned on her again.

This isn't the first time Rhea has been at the centre of harsh judgment. The actress was brutally targeted in the aftermath of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic death in 2020. As the late actor's girlfriend, she was dragged into a storm of media trials, online hatred, and unfounded allegations, including claims of drug abuse and abetment to suicide. At the height of it all, Rhea was even arrested and spent time in jail, despite the lack of any solid evidence against her.

Fast forward to now, after years of trauma, investigations, and endless media noise, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has officially closed the SSR case, stating clearly that Sushant's death was a suicide and Rhea had no involvement. The clean chit came too late for many who had already painted her as guilty in the court of public opinion.

Despite everything, Rhea is slowly but surely reclaiming her life and space in the entertainment world. She's back in front of the camera as a gang leader on MTV Roadies and has more projects in the pipeline.

However, every public appearance seems to invite more scrutiny than celebration. The recent video proves that for some, Rhea will always be an easy target. But through it all, she continues to show resilience.
