Kaisi Ye Qayamat, adapted from Umera Ahmed's novel Meri ZaatZara E Benishan, showcases the story of Sara - a woman
torn between faith, fidelity and forgiveness.
The saga spans across two generations and highlights the famous adage
what goes around, comes around'. SarwatGilani
of "IshqGumshuda" fame will be seen in
the heartwarming portrayal of Sara and Imran Abbas who recently made his
Bollywood Debut with "Creature" and of the famous show Mera Naseebwill essay
the role of Haider, her husband. The show that premieres on 15th December, is a
journey of discovery and highlights how past experiences and pain have a way of
coming back to haunt you in your life. The show also boasts of a highly
renowned ensemble cast featuring some of the biggest names in Pakistani's
television like SamiaMumtaz, SaminaPeerzada, MehreenRaheel, Faisal Qureshi,
Adnan Siddiqui among others.
Gauhar, which goes on air on 17th December, narrates the tale of a young, full of life and vibrant girl who is mistreated in her maternal home. However, nothing hampers the exceptional spirit of this girl whose dreams of a fairy tale wedding and a happily ever after remain undeterred. A motherless girl with an indomitable spirit, Gauhar dreams big despite being cheated in love and exploited in the guise of care. She gets married to Sami who is a doting son and blinded by his mother's love. As Gauhar, Sajal Ali (earlier seen in Mere Qatil Mere Dildaar&Mastani Mahi) shines in the role of a simple yet a smart girl who lives with her Mama and Mami. The strong spirited and positive minded girl deals with her Mami's ill-treatment with her quick wit because of which she is able to face her problems without being offensivewith her family.Ahsaan Khan (also seen in Mere Qatil Mere Dildar and Aina Dulhan Ka) portrays the character of Sami, her husband. Sami is a good son, who is torn between his love for his mother and the love he has for Gauhar. His love for Gauhar is constantly tested as he fights to win his mother's approval to finally give Gauhar her fairytale love story come to life.
