Revealed: Reason behind Ayushmann Khurrana replacing Imran Khan

Check out the new story that's making the rounds. Read on to know why Imran Khan was replaced with Ayushmann Khurrana.

According to reports in a leading daily, Imran Khan has been replaced by Ayushmann Khurrana for 'Bhoole Se Naam Na Lo Pyaar Ka', which was earlier titled 'Milan Talkies'. The decision is taken by none other than the makers Tigmanshu Dhulia and Ekta Kapoor.

The reports quoted a source saying, "Imran wanted 3 crores and it was working out to be a very expensive affair. No distribution team was willing to back such an expensive film, which would have to be sold at a very high price. Moreover, distributors told Balaji there would be no recovery for such a film at the given budget, forcing the Balaji team into doing a rethink on casting."

Also there were various others issues that Imran had with the film. He wanted to star alongside Priyanka Chopra. However, Ekta and Tigmanshu were keen to keep Bhumi Pednekar because they felt she was perfect for the role.

Further the source adds, "Bhumi and Ayushmann have been approached and everything is almost finalised. Balaji's team felt they were best suited to play the lead pair in Bhoole Se..." [sic]

Well, then that means Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen romancing Bhumi Pednekar yet again. The duo were last seen together in 'Dum lagake Haishaya'.
