#Respect:Freida Pinto fed 800 people from the left over food at Oscars

Actress Freida Pinto who has already amazed us with her acting skills now seems to stand as an inspiration for all of us. She recently helped in feeding around 800 people with the food that was left over at the Oscar Awards.

The 'Oscar Awards' which is considered as one of the prestigious awards witnessed a fair of celebs from all corners of the globe at its grand ceremony. There are a lot of chances for food being left over and wasted at the event. But, all thanks to Freida.

The actress along with San Francisco-based NGO 'Copia' took the initiative to distribute the remaining amount of food from the party to different areas of Los Angeles.

As per a report on Salon, they have been doing the good deed for 23 years now. The Wolfgang Puck prepares food for the Governor's Ball and also for the Oscar's after party. Whereas, 'Chef to End Hunger' is an NGO that has partnered with 'Puck' and together distributes food from Oscars to different sections.

The food items at Governer's Ball consisted of Chicken pot pie, potatoes with caviar, Oscar-shaped matzo crackers and gold dusted popcorn.
