Filmmaker Remo Dsouza is overwhelmed with the response to his directorial "ABCD - Any Body Can Dance". He says he will visit the Golden Temple in Amritsar to offer prayers.

"I will be going to the Golden Temple. I am overwhelmed with the response to 'ABCD'," Remo told IANS.

"The film has taken a rocking opening. I would love if the entire country goes and watches India's first 3D dance-based movie. It is an underdog story that will touch heartstrings," he added.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film minted Rs.5.5 crore on its opening day, with screenings in 400 3D screens and 350 2D screens.

"Slight dip in evening shows. Very good for non-star cast film," tweeted Adarsh.

The movie, released Friday, features Prabhu Deva, Ganesh Acharya, Kay Kay Menon and Salman Yusuf Khan.
