Divyanka Tripathi who plays the London-bred girl with a western influence to her language and style says, “I had to do a lot of research on my new character. I had to shop a lot for my clothes and work on my body language and style. I have a modern, but decent look. I always had one thing in mind that I will not show my skin, come what may!.”
When asked whether the audience will accept this sudden change in story line and characterization, an optimistic Divyanka replies, “I am sure they will accept us as we have worked very hard on this. When Vidya was introduced in the serial, I made the character famous thro' sheer hard work. Today, if Vidya has been accepted by the audience, so will Divya.”

Telly Buzz team talked to Pearl Shahi, Creative Head to get her input on the reincarnation track. “We wanted to bring in freshness to the story, and wanted to show a blossoming love story between the protagonists, which we could not show earlier, as Vidya and Saagar fell in love only after marriage. We know that the audience will be delighted to see this phase and of course, we aim for more TRPs now.”

Last but not the least, talking about the story line, Pearl Shahi comments, “The first episode shown after the leap will see the entry of Divyanka aka Divya, who will return to Delhi from London. Now Sindoora is at Delhi, while Amar is situated at Benaras. The story will move as destiny takes Divya to Benaras where she will meet Amar and thus the love story begins.”
We wish Sharad and Divyanka a very successful second innings!!
