Colors TV’s show Saavi Ki Savaari has been fairly consistent when it comes to the story line, the actors and In fact even the numbers. Talking to us about the same, Farman Haider, who essays the titular character of Nityam in the show talked to us about the show’s relatibility factor still being the same and said, “Our team did not want to make a typical daily soap. We do not want to show anything that does not appeal to one’s logic. In real life too I strongly believe in this one thing and that is one should never change for someone. Our show caters to everyone alike. We have not shown anything that will look unreal or artificial. Saavi Ki Sawari as a genre is inspired from the OTT world. All the characters in our show have parallel tracks, no body is just there for the sake of it. Everyone gets their dues.”

Farman also spoke to us about the dipping TRPs of the show and how it does not affect him. He said, “It has never affected me. There are people on the show who are affected by it, But I am not one of them. Every day is not the same after all. Yes, I do get a tad bit nervous on the TRP day. However, I also ask my production team to avoid seeing TRPs on a daily basis and to absolutely never inform me about the same. I am in no competition with anyone or any show. I want to give my best as an actor. Why should we compete? In our slot, we are the highest on the channel and we have been consistent at it.”

Further, we asked Farman whether he has recieved recognition from his show and his character and the actor said, “Yes, I definitely have recieved recognition. People do appreciate me. I love it when I am lauded for my scenes or my performance. There are days when my team claps for me after my performance, that’s a great feeling. And personally too I believe I have grown a lot. From the time I started the show until now, there have been major changes. My production tells me that my journey is worth watching.  However, honestly, I am just doing my work. Yes, recognition is a nice thing. But I am not hungry for it. People’s point of view towards me, the way they behave has changed. And I don’t want this special treatment all the time, especially when I am with my people. I want to be treated normally. I have never gone ahead to make statements like I belong to a small city or that I have struggled a lot. I do not believe in speaking false stories. I have always been treated like a king and I stick to it.”

Saavi Ki Sawari stars Farman Haider and Samridhi Shukla in titular roles.
