Star Plus’s heartfelt drama Pocket Mein Aasman, starring Farman Haider and Abhika Malakar which aired in early 2025 is reportedly all set to go off air. As per media reports, the show will go off air by the end of June this year. Well, India Forums got in touch with Farman recently and we happened to speak to the actor about his take on seeing the failure of a show as 'rejection.'
Speaking to us about the same, the actor states that it is not 'uncommon' on TV these days for shows to end soon. The actor says, ''When you sign a show and it airs on TV, it means that you have passed all the rounds: from audition to mock shoot. It would have been rejection if we hadn’t come on air at all. We came for a short while, but I think we made a fan base.''
Commenting on the trend of shows going off air soon, Farman says, ''Anyway, looking at the current trend on TV, nowadays it is not very uncommon for shows to wrap up soon. So in this case, I still I think our show made a mark while it lasted.''

Earlier speaking to us about the show going off air, Farman, exclusively confirming the reports to us, said, ''Yes, the reports are true. The show is going off air.''
''As far as I have see all the comments and messages, our show was quite liked and fans wanted a better time slot. Infact, and off lately our TRP was also stable. I can’t really determine the reason for the channel to take such a call,'' he said speaking about what according to him led to the show being axed.

Her husband, Digvijay (Farman Haider), challenges her to choose between her career and motherhood, prompting Rani to take a stand. Rather than sacrificing one dream for another, she chooses to pursue both—defying conventional norms and embodying the spirit of modern womanhood.
The show tackled themes such as gender expectations, marital dynamics, and personal freedom, aiming to shed light on the often-overlooked challenges working women face. Despite its strong premise, the series reportedly struggled with sustaining high viewership, leading the network to bring it to a close.
