Ravi Mohan's Wife, Aarti Ravi submits petition demanding THIS MUCH alimony monthly during court session

The divorce proceedings of Ravi Mohan and Aarti Ravi are capturing attention. Their ongoing exchanges through social media statements have also sparked considerable interest among online users. On Wednesday, the couple attended court to submit their petitions and formally end their relationship after almost 15 years of marriage.

As per a report from One India Tamil, Ravi Mohan and Aarti appeared before the Chennai Family Welfare Court today for their ongoing divorce case. The hearing has been postponed to June 12, 2025. During the session, Aarti submitted a petition requesting a monthly maintenance of Rs 40 lakh from the Parasakthi actor.

Ravi Mohan had previously filed for divorce in the same family court. The matter was referred to the Mediation and Reconciliation Center, where the judge advised the couple to engage in amicable discussions. Subsequently, the pair participated in three mediation sessions. All discussions were reportedly conducted in a calm and collaborative manner.

Following the conclusion of the mediation process, the case documents and associated files were transferred back to the Family Welfare Court for further proceedings. On May 21, 2025, the couple appeared before the judge at the First Family Court. With the hearing now adjourned, attention is focused on the upcoming session scheduled for June 12.

Turning to Ravi Mohan and Aarti's public dispute on social media, the situation escalated after Aarti made some startling disclosures. A few days ago, the Genie actor released a detailed statement, alleging that he had been subjected to abuse during his marriage. He also clarified his relationship with singer Kenishaa Francis, describing her as his unwavering support during challenging times.

Challenging his statement, Aarti appeared to criticize the actor, revealing that the singer had always been a presence in their marriage. She also indicated that she possessed evidence of a third party's involvement in their relationship even before they initiated divorce proceedings.

Starting in September 2024, Ravi announced his divorce from Aarti, his wife of 18 years, with whom he shares two sons. Aarti then stated that she and their sons were unaware of the announcement. The divorce was filed in a family court in Chennai in November 2024.

Notably, Jayam Ravi and Aarti tied the knot on June 4, 2009, surrounded by the love and well-wishes of their family and friends. The couple is now proud parents of two sons, Ayaan and Arav.
