Rashmika Mandanna to join Tiger Shroff in Shashank Khaitan's next; to be backed by Karan Johar - Report

In his second Dharma Film, Tiger Shroff and Shashank Khaitan will collaborate on an action-packed comedy. The actor has already begun preparing for the movie, which is getting ready to start filming in September. The actor-director team even recently shot for an announcement video that would be released soon. According to recent reports, Rashmika Mandanna has joined the cast as Tiger Shroff's co-lead.

Shashank was looking for a new combination and what better than getting Tiger and Rashmika together, stated the report further mentioning that both Tiger and Rashmika are eager to begin this crazy, action-packed adventure soon. Along with shooting overseas, the team will also film in India.

Tiger will appear in the movie with a youthful and athletic appearance because the plot involves many adventures for him. Although it is in the action genre, it is nothing like Tiger has done before, the report concluded.

The character profiles and specifics of the film's plot are being kept under wraps. Rashmika, who has lately been often spotted outside Karan Johar's office, would also be appearing in her debut Dharma movie. During the same time period, the actress will be filming Pushpa: The Rule and the as-yet-untitled Shashank Khaitan movie. Tiger Shroff has wrapped filming for the Vikas Bahl-helmed movie Ganapath, which is scheduled for a December release.

Tiger also appears in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, although the film's filming schedule has not yet been set. He is in discussions with producer Jackky Bhagnani for another project, the specifics of which are still unknown, after Ganapath and Bade Miyan.

Rashmika, on the other hand, has two movies coming out this year: the spy thriller Mission Majnu, starring Sidharth Malhotra, and Goodbye, featuring Amitabh Bachchan.
