Popular YouTuber and entrepreneur Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, has landed in hot water following his appearance as a panellist on comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent. The latest episode, which featured well-known personalities such as YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, comedian Jaspreet Singh, and content creator Apoorva Mukhija (The Rebel Kid), has sparked widespread outrage due to Allahbadia’s controversial remarks.
The show, known for its dark humour, took an unexpected turn when Allahbadia posed an unsettling question to a contestant. He asked, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?” The shocking nature of this query left even host Samay Raina stunned, as he immediately reacted with disbelief, questioning what had gotten into Allahbadia. The uncomfortable moment escalated further when Allahbadia proceeded to ask the contestant about the length of his private parts, further adding to the controversy.

Journalist and storyteller Neelesh Misra openly criticized creators like Allahbadia, calling them out for promoting “perverted” content under the guise of entertainment. He pointed out that such content is easily accessible to younger audiences due to platform algorithms and accused creators of lacking responsibility. Even Gaurav Taneja reacted on it and tweeted, "Lagta hai Samay Raina poore Youtube ko cancel karwa ke hi maanega".
Many social media users joined in the backlash, expressing disappointment over the decline in the quality of comedy. Some lamented the disappearance of classic, family-friendly humour once championed by legends like Jaspal Bhatti, Johnny Lever, and Raju Srivastava. Others ridiculed Allahbadia, stating that he had crossed all limits of obscenity. One user remarked that if vulgarity had any boundaries, Allahbadia had completely demolished them.
The controversy has also put a spotlight on the credibility of influencers who are often invited to interviews and podcasts with top business leaders, celebrities, and politicians. Many questioned how such individuals continue to receive platforms despite indulging in crass humour.
As the outrage continues to grow, it remains to be seen how Allahbadia and the show’s producers respond to the heavy criticism.
