Ranveer Allahbadia is currently under the radar for making a crass remark about 'parents having sex,' on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent sparking outrage on social media. Since then, several police complaints and FIRs have been registered against Ranveer, Samay, and others on the show. Both of them have apologised but the comment has people furious.

In response to the controversy, Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor has condemned Ranveer Allahbadia’s recent controversial remarks, asserting that freedom of speech does not justify socially unacceptable statements. He made his stance clear while addressing the issue on Wednesday.

What he did is something which I don’t endorse at all. There have got to be limitations. There has got to be self-censorship also

He went on to emphasize the significance of responsible speech, particularly on public platforms.“Within your home, you talk whatever you want to talk, but on social platforms, you need to be careful and you need to be disciplined," he added.

On Wednesday, Boney Kapoor and his son, actor Arjun Kapoor, met Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at the state Assembly. They extended an invitation for him to be the chief guest at the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) 2025. This season, the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack has been chosen as the home ground for the Bengal Tigers team, and several matches will be played there.

This situation unfolds as Samay Raina faces criticism due to Ranveer Allahbadia's recent remarks on India's Got Latent. Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, reportedly asked a contestant an inappropriate question during a recent episode, involving body parts and suggesting an indecent act in exchange for Rs 2 crore. The backlash intensified when he posed a particularly controversial question:

"Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once to stop it forever?"

Although Ranveer has already expressed regret for his comments, Samay also released a statement on Wednesday night, announcing that he has removed all episodes of India's Got Latent from YouTube.

"Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India's Got Latent' videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you," he said.
