Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as 'Beer biceps' widely, has found himself in troubled waters after his recent statement on Samay Raina's show 'India's Got Latent.' During his appearance on the show, Ranveer, while speaking to a contestant was seen asking him if he would want to watch his parents have sex for the rest of his life or join them once and stop it forever. This statement of the popular creator ended up garnering a lot of hatred and resulted in widespread public outrage. As a result of the same, multiple FIRs were filed against Allahbadia, Samay Raina and Apoorva Mukhija.
Well, amid all this, all the creators present in the panel in the said episode have been asked to appear before the NCW office in Delhi for a hearing on the 17th of February. Media reports suggest that after Apoorva and Ashish, Ranveer too has now recorded his statements in the Khar police station. The NCW (National Commission of Women) has now summoned the creators to appear in the head office for further hearing.
As per a statement released by the NCW, the creators along with the producers of the show have been summoned by the NCW and have been asked to appear in the head office. ''The Commission has taken serious note of the vulgar and offensive remarks made by content creators such as Ranveer Allahabadia, Samay Raina, Apoorva Makhija, Jaspreet Singh, and Ashish Chanchlani, as well as the show's producers, Tushar Poojari and Saurabh Bothra. These comments, which have sparked widespread public outrage, violate the dignity and respect owed to every individual, particularly in a society that upholds equality and mutual respect. In light of this concern, under the instructions of NCW Chairperson Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar, a hearing has been scheduled to address the controversial remark made by the content creators on India's Got Latent. The concerned parties-Mr. Ranveer Allahabadia, Mr. Samay Raina, Ms. Apoorva Makhija, Mr. Jaspreet Singh, Mr. Ashish Chanchlani, Mr. Tushar Poojari and Mr. Saurabh Bothra- are required to appear in person before the Commission. The hearing will take place on February 17, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the NCW office in New Delhi,'' reads the statement.

While Ranveer and Samay have reacted to the said controversy, Apoorva and others are yet to react publicly on the same.
