Randhir Kapoor jets off to New York to be with brother Rishi Kapoor

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor took everyone by surprise when he flew out of India to New York in September last year, Without revealing much about his health condition, he had mentioned that he needs to address the 'wear and tear' that has happened over the years. Ever since then, his wife Neetu Kapoor has been with him in the Big Apple while daughter Ridhima Kapoor Sahni and son Ranbir Kapoor along with girlfriend Alia Bhatt keep visiting him.

Now we hear that his brother Randhir Kapoor will be joining him in New York for three weeks. A source told DNA, "He intends to spend the entire period with his brother and sister, Ritu Nanda, who is also staying there currently for her treatment."

While nothing much has been disclosed about Rishi's health, it is being speculated that has been detected with advanced stage of cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy in the US. However, his brother Randhir had dismissed all rumours during an interaction with PTI by mentioning, "We don't know yet what is the exact nature of his ailment. Rishi himself doesn't know what he's suffering from. He has not even started undergoing tests there; how can people speculate that he has cancer and that too, one that has escalated to advanced stage. Let him undergo tests peacefully; whatever the results, we will let everyone know."

Apart from the family, B-town celebs like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Anupam Kher, Sonali Bendre, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan among others, have been visiting Rishi in New York.
