Randeep Hooda Expresses Shock; Voices his Concerns and Requests PM Modi's Intervention

Apart from being a notable actor, Randeep Hooda is also an ardent environmentalist. He keeps on raising his voice and talking about various environmental issues on his social media handles. The actor also took part in a clean-up drive of Versova beach. 

Recently, Randeep took to his Twitter account to call out a decision made by the ministry of the environment. Recently the Ministry of Environment had said that all small scale railway projects which involves construction of less than 20,000 sq metres  and under-25 MW capacity hydropower plants will not require approval from the National Board for Wildlife even if they are located within eco-sensitive zones of national parks or wildlife sanctuaries.

Randeep Hooda has called this decision of the ministry as a shocking one and feels that the environment ministry works for other ministries and dosent work for the environment and wildlife.
