Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Shamshera' finds a new release date

More delays and more postponments have become a constant for the longest time now owing to COVID-19 as we know.

The mini third wave that struck in early January led to a sudden stop in proceedings and some of the biggest films that were on the brink of release - led to being delayed.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor now suddenly has around four films ready to be rolling but almost all of them have been delayed for a long time now. Interestingly, if Kapoor doesn't have a release till June 2022, it will be a massive four years for the actor without a single release.

However, not much has to be worried where just as that happens, Kapoor has one film ready and set for release almost instantly on 22nd July 2022.

That's right. And that film is none other than the multistarrer Shamshera. The film, produced by Yash Raj Films has been subjected to an array of delays and just as it seemed a March release would finally be happening, the third wave led it to being postponed.

As of now, the film has locked a new release date in July and if things don't change, it should be for certainty.

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the film stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles as well while it is being directed by Agneepath director, Karan Malhotra.
