Yes, that's newsflash indeed!

Raising an eye already?! Wait till you hear more! To be produced under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, this movie wasoriginally set to cast the popular onscreen pair of Ran-Kat, until Katrina Kaif backed out owing to signing of a project with YRF instead, opposite King Khan. Apparently, when Kat had to make her final call she named the experienced Yash Chopra as her choice over newer kid on the block Ayan - although, one does wonder if the choice wasn't more about picking SRK over Ranbir!

Anyway, as for the KJo and Ayan Mukherji project, Kat's loss became Dippy's gain, as Padukone easily stepped into the shoes of the female lead opposite ex-beau Ranbir. For almost a year after their split, rumors of these two young actors claiming to have no professional glitch in signing a project together did rounds. Now talks of this joint project shall finally stand testimony to their claims.

Having already seen the kind of success the pair of Ranbir and Ayan bagged for themselves with Wake Up Sid, the addition of Deepika Padukone to their duo certainly ups speculation and anticipation - as much for behind the scenes action, as for the movie itself perhaps! 

All excited to see this not long ago real life couple share screen space again, say 'aye Ayan!
