Ram Charan starrer RC15 & Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 to be shot simultaneously; director confirms with a tweet

It has been unclear whether S Shankar will delay production on the Ram Charan-starring film RC15 ever since he started up again on his eagerly awaited movie Indian 2, which stars Kamal Haasan. However, the director has since announced that both projects would be shot simultaneously.

Confirming the news he tweeted, "Hi Everyone, Indian 2 and #RC15 will be shot simultaneously. Ready to shoot the next schedule of #RC15 from first week of September in Hyderabad and Vizag! @DilRajuOfficial @AlwaysRamCharan @SVC_official."

In September, Kajal Aggarwal, Bobby Simha, and Siddharth will join the cast of Indian 2, which is supported by Udayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies in collaboration with Lyca Productions. Apart from the others, major roles will also be played by Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Guru Somasundaram, and Samuthirakani. Although the film's production got back on track yesterday, Kamal Haasan won't be joining the crew until September of the following year.

The group includes Anirudh Ravichander, who serves as the music director. After a serious catastrophe occurred on the sets in February 2020, which resulted in the deaths of a few crew members, filming for this enormous project was put on hold.

Additionally, Kiara Advani and Ram Charan will co-star in the movie, which is currently known as RC15. According to the rumours, the RRR actor would play two roles in the film. The new schedule will start in the first week of September in Hyderabad and Vizag, while the team has already shot a significant amount of the movie in Amritsar and Vizag. The RC15 crew is preparing for a release in the middle of 2023, which is backed by Dil Raju.
