Shakuntalam Telefilms upcoming show Rakshak which was set to launch earlier this year in January 2013 is finally going on air from 4th May on Life OK.

The show will be based on Rakshak which will be played by Rajesh Shringarpure, who is a saviour. Rakshak fights crime with crime and kill criminals brutally because of the crime they have done.

The show will be in episodics, where every episodic will revolve around different themes. Actors like Karam Rajpal, Rishina Kandhari and Purva Parag has been roped in to play central characters.

The show is set to replace Balaji Telefilms Ek Thhi Naayka and the thriller based show with dark concept will be aired every weekend.

after watching the starting 15 minutes of the show tonight, i did feel like it was a bit like a modified version of dexter.
especially, because of the first scene and the plastic wrap.
nice show :)
