#RakshabandhanSpecial : These ON-SCREEN Brother-Sister Jodis give us sibling goals!
The most purest form of love is sibling love..

What I have always felt is that when the phrase 'Love is Unconditional' was born, it wasn't addressed to the quintessential partner relationship (though it was). The true personification of the phrase would be the crazy brother-sister bond.
The innumerable fights, the 'I-got-your-back' feature, the go-to secret sharing and the unspoken love is what exemplifies the bond a brother-sister share.
And over the years, we have witnessed some memorable on-screen brother-sister duos; while today we list down not only the most popular but also the most adorable on-screen brother-sister duos.
Abhi and Alia in 'Kumkum Bhagya'

Well, this bond is probably the perfect example of raksha (protection) in the word RakshaBandhan, as there has so many instances, where the knight-in-armour Raman Bhalla (Karan Patel) has come to her darling sister, Simran aka Simmi's (Shireen Mirza) rescue. It also perfectly exemplifies how no matter what, a sister would only wish and pray good for her brother.

Watching them bond together almost makes the single children envy. And that bond takes you back to your childhood, where fun, laughter and even pranks constituted the amazing brother-sister relationship. Even though Naira (Ashnoor Kaur) is now the grown up Naira (Shivangi Joshi), her love for her brother, Naksh (Rohan Mehra) remains unconditional.

This brother-sister bond has been so infectious that inspite of being just on-screen siblings, they went on share similar emotions in real life too. Firoza Khan aka Kinjal may no more be a part of the show, but time and again she doesn't cease to express her pure love for Vishal Singh aka Jigar and Mohammad Nazim aka Ahem.

The show may not even be two months old, but 'Ishqbaaaz' has managed to rule several hearts. Apart from the insperable brotherhood of Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo), Omkara (Kunal Kulbhushan Jaisingh) and Shivaay (Nakkul Mehta), which is the highlight of the show, the amazing sister-brother bond between Priyanka (Subha Rajput) and Shivaay (Nakkul Mehta) has also been a treat.

Probably the most realistic brother-sister relationships, Shaan (Karan V Grover) and Shogata (Neha Kaul) exemplify a unique form of the relationship. You witness several fights and taunts which the duo keeps firing at each other; but when need, Shaan becomes the perfect brother to her spoilt-but-lovable sister.

'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi' may have its love relationship of Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) as the central element, but the fantastic brother-sister bonding of both of them with their respective siblings has not only been a highlight but has also been adorable too watch. In fact, it can safely be said that the sibling bonds and scenes shown in this show supersedes almost every other show.
While, the on-screen brothers and sisters continue to make you aww by some heart-touching and emotional scenes, today is the day to tell your sister/brother, how much you love them and care for them.
Happy Rakshabandhan to all the readers..!
