Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra on working with Farhan after 7 years for 'Toofan'

It might have come across as a shock to many but it has officially been confirmed that a mega film that was in the works for a while is now going to see the light of the day on a streaming platform. We are talking about Toofan and how the film will be releasing on Amazon Prime Video, as we know now.

While it was always meant for a theatrical release, Toofan has many things going for itself - one of them being the reunion of Farhan Akhtar and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra after their successful collaboration severn years ago in the form of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

And talking about this reunion, director Mehra said, “After working with Farhan in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, I was certain he would be the perfect protagonist for Toofaan. The best thing about him is that he does not act the part, but lives it completely. Toofaan is a story that will motivate and inspire all of us to get out of comfort zones and fight towards achieving our dreams. We cannot wait to present our film to viewers across the globe! ”
