Rajkummar Rao won't be romancing Kangana Ranaut in 'Mental Hai Kya'

While, everyone thought Rajkummar Rao will be romancing with his co-star Kangana Ranaut in this film but, apparently, that's not true. The actor is said to be romancing actress Amyra Dastur.

A source told the leading, "Amyra has been approached to play Rajkummar's love interest in the film. It's a very quirky film and the makers have plans to cast some unusual pairing for the film."

Talking about the film, it is written by Kanika Dhillon will be directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, National Award winning director for Telegu film, Bomelatta and it will be a psychological thriller. Mental Hai Kya is produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures and Shailesh R Singh's Karma Media.

The film goes on floors this month with their first schedule beginning in Mumbai before the cast and crew gear up for London.

Recently, during an interaction, Kangana spoke about the film and had also revealed its title. The actor stated, "My next film is Mental Hai Kya, which is written by a woman screenplay writer, Kanika. The story is about a woman who could be a murderer or a mentally ill person. It talks about mental health, but also has a light-heartedness to it."
