A video capturing Rajinikanth's interaction with his adoring fans on the sets of "Lal Salaam" quickly went viral on social media platforms. The footage served as undeniable evidence of the actor's mesmerizing stardom. In a truly magical display, Rajinikanth climbed onto the rooftop of a car, reaching out to his fans, who surrounded the vehicle, cheering and capturing the unforgettable moment on their phones. During May, Rajinikanth shuttled back and forth between locations, including Mumbai, for the filming of "Lal Salaam." Notably, he shared screen time with the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, who reportedly has a role in the film. Rajinikanth expressed his deep respect and admiration for Kapil Dev, posting a picture of them together on set and describing it as an "honour and privilege."

When Rajinikanth's first look as Moideen Bhai from "Lal Salaam" was unveiled, it faced substantial criticism for its poor quality. Nevertheless, anticipation remains high for the film, marking Aishwaryaa's return to directing after a seven-year hiatus. Alongside Rajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth take on the lead roles in this production, bankrolled by Lyca Productions. While a release date for "Laal Salaam" is yet to be announced officially, it is slated to hit theatres in 2023.
