Rajinikanth on touching CM Yogi's feet: "Whether a sanyasi or a yogi, it is my habit to fall at their feet"

In a recent encounter with the media, legendary actor Rajinikanth offered insights into his longstanding practice of showing respect to spiritual leaders, irrespective of their age. The conversation was ignited by the online buzz surrounding his recent interaction with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during a visit to Lucknow. The superstar's response shed light on his belief in venerating 'sanyasis' and 'yogis,' regardless of their age, sparking a dialogue on cultural traditions and personal values.

Addressing the chatter, Rajinikanth expressed, "Whether a sanyasi or a yogi, it is my habit to fall at their feet even if they are younger than me. That's what I did." This candid explanation comes in the wake of discussions spurred by his respectful gesture towards Yogi Adityanath. The gesture ignited diverse reactions, with some questioning the appropriateness of the 72-year-old actor touching the feet of a much younger political figure.

In 'Jailer' Rajinikanth takes on the role of a father seeking vengeance for the death of his police officer son.
