My character’s name is - Bittu. Bittu is a lower middle class, uneducated yet very street smart kind of character. He actually causes issues with related to the Vineet, who plays Alok Nath’s son. Bittu has quite an accent while talking, I have given the character, a phrase that is said quite often in his speech, ‘bittu ka heart kehta hain…” and we hope that the dialogue will catch on with the audience.
Is it a cameo or a permanent character?
No, it is a cameo. I am quite use to doing cameo’s in the television industry and this is one of them, thus I opted for it.
We heard that you’ve had a long association with the director - Mr. Rajan Shahi, your take on that?
Well, I have worked with Mr. Rajan Shahi during Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin. And it has been absolutely great working with him. He’s a man with a great vision. This is his first independent show and I am here to be a part of his vision. I wish him the best of luck for his new show.
Any new projects in the pipeline?
Well, I just won an award for new role in Left Right Left. I am doing a couple of films and am doing a show with Star One.
